Chef Geoff’s (12256 Rockville Pike) – This Contemporary American restaurant has a Valentine’s Day special menu featuring a blood orange sparkler, lobster & corn chowder, smoked & grilled filet mignon, and a chocolate trio.

Mykonos Grill (121 Congressional Lane) – For something a little more exotic, try this nearby Greek restaurant.

Their Valentine’s Day menu features three different Pre Fixe Menu options, which include filet of salmon, taverna salad, and an appetizer assortment.

La Canela (141-D Gibbs St.) – La Canela is both delicious and extremely romantic inside. Enjoy unique flavors in this warmly decorated, casually elegant neighborhood Peruvian restaurant.

 

Evening Adventure

Enjoy an Odyssey The Odyssey Cruise Ship in Washington, DC is offering a Valentine’s Day weekend special just 30 minutes away from Mallory Square, on the Potomac River. Each cruise lasts 2 or 3 hours, and incorporates brunch or dinner.

Skate and Shop – Head over to Rockville Town Square Ice Rink (131 Gibbs Street).  Hold hands as you fall, or glide together gracefully at the largest outdoor rink between Baltimore and the District.

Cocktails & Canvas: Love-Themed VisArts (155 Gibbs Street) at Rockville Town Square hosts weekly painting classes. Tickets to the classes include one free glass of wine, with additional beverages available for purchase for just $3.00.

 

Night In

Movie Night – Stay in and enjoy your beautiful apartment. Pop in a Netflix movie, and order food to-go. Try something special from the nearby Lebanese Taverna Cafe, and pick up dessert from the French café around the corner, Vie de France.

Cook Together – Some say there’s nothing more romantic than cooking with your loved one. Pick up some wine from nearby Gilly’s, and your favorite meats, cheeses, and breads from Harris Teeter.
