Tickets are going fast for the Antilles Music Ensemble's March 30th performance in Key West, so be sure to get yours soon! This popular musical group focuses on early 20th century Caribbean dance music, so it's a must for anyone who likes the toe-tapping sounds of French Creole rhythms or the forms jazz took during it earliest, most formative years.
Eight musicians strong, the Antilles Music Ensemble's members include representatives of multiple Caribbean traditions. Jamaica, Trinidad, Haiti, Cuba, and Martinique are all represented, with instruments ranging from the steel drums to sousaphone to the clarinet, and more. The music starts at 8 p.m., so there's plenty of time to enjoy a drink or grab a quick bite to eat in the neighborhood surrounding The Studios of Key West before the show.
Regular tickets are $38, while the VIP option will set you back $55.
