Located in Rock Creek Regional Park, Go Ape is a fully immersive outdoor adventure course featuring six zip lines (including the country’s first skateboard zip line!), wooden crossings, rope ladders, two Tarzan swings, and a free-fall swing — all with an incredible view. There are six individual sections within the course, each section taking you higher into the forest canopy. After half an hour of training with an instructor, you’re on your own to zip through the woods and leap across wooden planks 40 feet in the air. Go Ape is a fun activity for both adults and children, and is also a great way to overcome your fear of heights and spend the day in the great outdoors.
Participants must be at least 10 years old and a minimum height of 4’7. The cost is $55 per person for a two to three hour session. Wear something that you don’t mind getting dirty, and remember that a harness will be going on top of your shorts.
